Investigational Study for a Monthly Contact Lens

The purpose of this study is to evaluate an investigational, monthly replacement soft contact lens in nearsighted individuals. Study participants will be randomized into one of two lens options to wear over 3 months, and during this time, 7 visits will take place at 22762 Westheimer Parkway Suite #405, Katy TX 77450 for clinical assessments. After completing screening and lens dispensing visits, follow-up visits will be scheduled for 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, and 91 days after the first visit. Each visit will last 1-2 hours.

  • To participate you must:

  • You must be nearsighted, routinely wear contact lenses, and meet other study criteria.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Able and willing to wear contact lenses at least 5 days a week, for at least 6 hours a day.

  • Have healthy eyes.

  • Soft contact lens powers:

    • Sphere powers -0.50D through -10.00D in each eye

  • Not be pregnant or nursing or taking prescription eye drops.

  • Not wear contact lenses overnight, for monovision, or have multi-focal lens correction.

  • Satisfy all other study eligibility and exclusion criteria.

If you qualify to participate:

  • You will receive contact lenses and a cleaning solution for the duration of the study at no cost. Plus, you may receive up to $57.00 for each completed study visit, for a total of up to $400 compensation upon completion of all study visits.

Contact Lens Study to Slow Down Nearsightness in Children.

Is your child nearsighted?

Ask us about a clinical trial for an FDA-approved daily disposable soft contact lens designed to slow the progression of myopia in children ages 8-12 years. Compensation up to $1,000 for completing 12 visits over 4 years. Children in the study will receive eye exams and contact lenses at no cost while participating in the study.
