Vision One Myopic Control Clinic is fully equipped with state of the art equipment including Non-contact optical Anterior Biometry, Corneal topography, Pachymetry, Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) which allow us to provide the best myopia control management outcome to our prospective patients.
At Vision One Eyecare, Dr. Wong uses Custom Ortho-K lenses for better effective myopia correction and control. Traditional Ortho-K lenses have a limited range of efficacy for refractive error correction up to -6.00 D of nearsightedness and -1.75D of astigmatism. On the other hand, custom OK lenses broadens the treatment range up to -10.00 D of nearsightedness and -3.00 D of astigmatism. Studies by Professor Patrick Caroline at Pacific University and Dr. Michaud Langis at University of Montreal also supported that customized OK lenses have a more profound effect on slowing down the progression of near-sightedness in children.
